Quick Garden Tidy Ups
Hiring a gardening professional for a few hours can make a lot of sense.
They can do the jobs you don’t like to do, or struggle with physically.
Maybe you haven’t had the time recently and the garden is starting to get out of control. They can also offer you advise about your garden.
We often get calls from customers for one off tasks.
Here’s a selection of our quick garden tidy ups we completed in less than 2 to 4 hours.
One-off Lawn Mow.
The grass in this front garden became too long for the owners lawn mower to tackle. So we pulled up the weeds and gave it a short cut.
Weeding.
This garden bed had been taken over by weeds, once cleared, it revealed some really interesting planting.
The lawn was re-edged and bark chippings laid to keep the weeds at bay.
Winter Tidy Up.
This winter tidy up involved cutting back the perennial plants, pruning the roses and weeding. The patio was swept and the grass was strimmed, as it was too long and wet to put the mower over it.
Shrub and Hedge Cutting.
A couple of hours of shaping the shrubs and hedge trimming, made this garden look a lot neater.
Leaf Clearance.
One man and his rake (and a leaf blower). These leaves were far too thick and wet to be collected by a mower, so they mostly had to be raked up by hand and put in the compost bay. Finally running the mower over the area.
